Frontend Developer - UI Developer (HTML | CSS | JavaScript)

We're looking to grow our development team with Front-end developers with a passion for e-commerce.

As a Front End Developer, you will be contributing by building the UI component from mockups provided by the X/UI team. Projects will vary based on clients’ requirements

Qualifications:

Professional experience developing enterprise-level, customer-facing web applications, and components across the full development stack
Familiarity with Vue.js, React, or other similar technologies
Nice to have: Shopify and WordPress

The position:

This is a Full times position, hours are flexible. Responsibilities include

Build custom Shopify themes from the ground up
Implement new features or improve UI/UX on existing Shopify themes
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams
Support the planning and scoping of new features and projects
Provide input on a range of topics, from accessibility to performance
Requirements

Fluent in English
Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6)
Experience with version control and modern build technologies
Expertise in authoring responsive, cross-browser compatible code
Ability to self-manage
Excellent time management and communication skills
Experience working as part of a remote team

Pluses

Experience in Shopify web development
Experience authoring Shopify themes from scratch
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React
Familiarity with WCAG and accessibility best practices
Familiarity with performance testing and optimization
Familiarity with SEO best practices
Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, GTM
Familiarity with CRO and related tools such as Google Optimize
Experience with Shopify API and SDKs
