UI Engineer with BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or similar

Primary Responsibilities

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience developing PHP based web applications
Knowledge in relational database systems
General knowledge of Angular
Firm understanding of object oriented or functional programming
Working knowledge of Unix/Linux OS
Knowledge of agile methodologies (i.e. Scrum)
Knowledge of source code control (e.g. Git, SVN, CVS, etc.)

Exceptional attention to detail
Possess an eagerness to engage development head-on and have a thirst for developing solid quality strategies
Be a self-organizing individual that requires minimum direction to understand effort that must be planned and accomplished

Desired Skills and Experience

Experience with web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Experience with PHP web frameworks (Symfony, Cake, Laravel, etc.)
Experience with DevOps or supporting CI/CD pipeline
Exposure to AWS Technologies (EC2, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.)
Exposure to NoSQL database services
Knowledge and conceptual understanding of information security

Create fast and scalable software components and programs
Create unit and functional tests for software components and programs
Continuously integrate your software code
Deliver and deploy highly tested and stable software components and programs
Participate in a challenging development process within a multinational team of professionals
Create efficient and elegant solutions using bleeding-edge technologies
Participate in debates and discussions with technical specialists in daily meetings
